Science and Technology teachers students about natural and man-made environments by investigating, designing, making, and using technology.
Learning in Science and Technology draws on and contributes to learning related to the other key learning areas.
Science is concerned with finding out about the world in a systematic way. It is not just a body of knowledge, but rather a process of investigation.
The aim of Science and Technology at Corpus Christi is to develop in students, their processes of investigation, designing and making, as well as their knowledge and understanding of:
- built environments
- information and communication
- living things
- physical phenomena
- products and services
- earth and its surroundings
Students have access to various technologies and software to support their learning across all subjects, which provide a diverse range of learning opportunities to assess, select and use a range of technologies.
Come and see learning in action at Corpus Christi!
We’d love a chance to show you how learning works for young people in our school. Our dedicated teachers plan the learning in detail to help each student do their best.
